SOLAR POWER PROJECT COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY AT SC VivoCity

On October 21, 2021, the solar power project with ESCO module at SC VivoCity Shopping Mall that is invested by ACCV, constructed and installed by Green Power Investment Joint Stock Company was started. With a total capacity of 745.53kWp, this solar power system is capable of providing enough electricity for shopping mall to use even during peak hours.

The system includes 1410 PV energy panels capacity of 535Wp, with 7 inverters capacity of 82.8kW and use the DC Optimizer system that will help to monitor each module level, increase efficiency by more than 25% in partial shade conditions, optimize system efficiency up to 99.5% and ensure fire protection standards.

Estimated power output is 1050GWh/year, contributes to reduce emissions by 830 tons of CO2/year, protect the environment, reduce annual emissions across the country. In addition, with a large number of solar panels covering the roof of the center, helping reduce roof temperature by 3-5 degrees Celsius, thereby reducing power consumption for cooling inside the shopping mall.

This is a very meaningful project in creating clean green energy from sunlight, limiting the emission of harmful gases into the air, contributing to environmental protection, and at the same time saving costs in using National Electricity.

The project is expected to complete and put into use in December 2021.
