SC VivoCity celebrates a decade of growth and shopper engagement
Over the past 10 years, SC VivoCity has evolved to serve the diverse needs of all shopper demographics.
HO CHI MINH CITY, 11 September 2025 – SC VivoCity will be celebrating its 10th anniversary on 21 September 2025, reinforcing its position as an international retail and lifestyle destination mall in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, a spectacular showcase headlined by singer S.T Son Thach will be performing live for shoppers and partners during the evening celebration event. Since August 2025, SC VivoCity has introduced a series of activities under the theme “x10 Joys and Surprises” to celebrate and engage shoppers as part of its 10th anniversary. Highlights include a lucky draw (from 22 August to 4 October) with exciting prizes and a “10 Days of x10 Hot Deals” campaign (19 to 28 September) featuring exclusive offers from shopping, dining and entertainment brands.
SC VivoCity also unveiled three new playgrounds in the mall: B-Zone – a mini zoo, Funzone Adventure – an edutainment playground and VR City from Singapore, which made its debut in Ho Chi Minh City.

From its early days, SC VivoCity has distinguished itself in Ho Chi Minh City by pioneering the introduction of Sky Park, a complimentary outdoor playground located on the rooftop of the mall. This innovative space features physical activity areas and a modern water play zone, offering a unique play experience for children. In 2025, Sky Park had been upgraded and transformed with a brand-new Ocean Park theme.
Over the past decade, SC VivoCity has evolved to serve the diverse needs of all customer demographics and delivered a complete experience across shopping, dining and entertainment. SC VivoCity curates a wide range of events and experiences, from movie premieres, brand launches to promotional campaigns. These initiatives introduce fresh offerings and create memorable moments for shoppers, particularly appealing to the younger generation.
At the close of 2022, SC VivoCity introduced its customer loyalty programme SC VivoCity Rewards+, which established a connection with customers by providing exclusive benefits. These include points redemption, birthday gifts, festive offers and opportunities to participate in special events.
In addition to providing a vibrant lifestyle and shopping experience, SC VivoCity leads in implementing environmentally sustainable practices, particularly in energy efficiency. In 2022, SC VivoCity successfully implemented a rooftop solar power system, saving over 2.3 million kWh of electricity and a reduction of more than 1,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions between 2022 and 2024. Notably, by the end of 2024, SC VivoCity became the first shopping mall in Vietnam to receive LEED Gold Certification for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (v4.1) from the U.S. Green Building Council (“USGBC”).
SC VivoCity is also committed to corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives. Each year, the mall organises the “Green Month” campaign to promote sustainable living and raise environmental awareness through various activities, including art workshops, recycled crafts and tree donations to national nature reserves through the “Forest Garden” project.
To further strengthen community bonds, SC VivoCity collaborates with local authorities to support disadvantaged families during Tet and works alongside Khan Quang Do newspaper and volunteer groups to bring joy to underprivileged children in Ho Chi Minh City through initiatives such as “Tet Cho Em” and “Trung Thu Mo Uoc.”
