From April 13, 2026, UNIQLO Vietnam will stop providing free paper bags at all stores nationwide to minimize single-use paper bags and encourage customers to bring reusable bags when shopping.
This initiative will also launch a program to protect natural resources and national forests in Vietnam. A portion of the revenue from paper bags will be donated by UNIQLO Vietnam to the Gaia Nature Conservation Center to support activities in planting and conserving special-use forests in National Parks and Nature Reserves. UNIQLO Vietnam will work closely with its partners to update customers on this matter in the coming time.
UNIQLO believes that this small action can create a big change. Let’s change our habits today by bringing our own reusable bags or buying and using the reusable cloth bags available at the store!
