In May 2022, SC VivoCity successfully installed a solar energy system. The system consists of 1,410 PV solar panels with a capacity of 535 Wp each, along with 7 inverters, each with a capacity of 82.8 kW.
Over the three-year period from 2022 to 2024, this system has generated clean, renewable energy from sunlight, helping to reduce the emission of harmful gases into the atmosphere. It has produced more than 2.3 million kWh of electricity, reduced over 1,500 tons of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to the carbon absorption capacity of more than 8,000 Melaleuca trees (*).
